Welcome to my Blog!

Hi Family and Friends-

I've finally started a blog.  I've thought about doing a blog for awhile but I didn't know what I would put on it.  My life is great but it may not be entertaining enough for a blog.  But now I'm engaged so I thought I would use a blog to let people know what is happening in my life.

I met Nick Gordon on LDSsingles.com.  I had been on that site for awhile and had several interesting dates as a result.  But on August 13, 2010 I met Nick at the Gateway. We went to dinner at the Skybox and then saw Inception.  Nick was fun to date and it always felt right.  We have a lot in common and we were really comfortable with each other.  

Nick is from Clearfield, UT.  Nick works for the IRS in Ogden.  He is the father of two great kids.  Abby is 5 and Matthew is 8.  They are so cute.  I'm excited to be a second Mom to them.  I get to be a wife and a mom on the same day!

After dating for about 5 months we started talking about getting married.  I knew I loved him and that I wanted him around forever.  Again it just felt right and we both knew it was the right decision.  Now we are engaged and planning a wedding for July 29th.  We are planning on getting married in the Salt Lake Temple.  We are still working on a location for the dinner the night before and the reception site.  If you have any wedding hints let me know.

I don't have a ring yet but I will post pictures of it when I do.  I'm sure Nick is working on that.

I have a dress and it's so nice!  I can't post pictures of it on here because Nick can't see it.  But if you want to see it let me know and I'll send you a private e-mail with a link to it.

So now we are embarking on a new adventure.  It's going to be exciting!
